Getting what we want from others may be seen perceived as manipulative and self-serving. However, using influence tactics to get what you need for the benefit of all parties is a strategy that is crucial and has huge payoffs for leaders and professionals and their stakeholders. Strategic Influence is the art of understanding key aspects of self and others, both similarities and differences, in order to find common ground to move forward in a way that benefits everyone.
In this workshop you will be introduced to key aspects of strategic influence that will help you to be more influential in your approach when getting others on board.
Specifically you will learn:
- Traits of personality preferences that impact ability to influence or be influenced.
- A model for assessing ability to influence others and identify gaps that need to be
closed for influence to occur.
- Understanding of motivators to influence or be influenced.
You will gain a greater understanding of how effective your current strategic influence strategy is and what changes you can start making immediately to get better results for success.
