It has been more than a decade since the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) of Canada released its final report and 94 Calls to Action. In that time, there have been countless reports, reflections, and conversations about what comes next. But where are we now? How have you engaged in this work? How has the social sector responded, and where is there still more to do? What could the next 10 years look like?
We don’t claim to have the answers. But we do believe in the importance of coming together to ask better questions, to listen deeply, and to reflect honestly.
Join our Indigenous Protocols for Fundraising instructors Emily Cabrera, Morgan Wilson, and Rowena Veylan, as we open our circle to you. Elder Dean will be there to start us off in the right way. This will be a space for shared learning, thoughtful conversation, and connection—grounded in warmth, respect, and curiosity.
