Join us for this special Let’s Talk event where we will hear from the one and only Rory Green! Rory is currently the Associate Director, Gift & Estate Planning at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, BC. She has also worked in major and corporate giving at BCIT and the Canadian Cancer Society. Rory’s passion is donors. How to listen to them. How to talk to them. How to help them feel joy through philanthropy. She loves learning about fundraising from the generous and smart people of this sector, and sharing what she knows.

In our time with Rory she will demystify planned giving and speak about how to make it easy and accessible for donors. She will talk about where to focus your precious time and resources to see the best results and how to leverage the things that you are already doing to inspire donors to leave a gift in their will.

Rory says “Just like you don’t have to be rich to leave a meaningful planned gift, you also do not have to have a planned giving department to help your donors make meaningful planned gifts.”

Rory has also kindly waived her speaker honorarium and we will be offering two $100 credits to the school as door prizes for two lucky attendees!
